QCDOC

This is UKQCD's page for information for the QCDOC project. QCDOC stands for "QCD On a Chip". The QCDOC supercomputer is a massively parallel computer for purpose-built for lattice QCD calculations.

Software

The UKQCD collaboration is committed to the open source development of software.

Information about the software we use in the QCDOC can be found on the QCDOC software page.

Overview of the software

On the QCDOC machine we expect to use the libraries (for improved staggered runs) in the following configuration:

QCDOC Hardware

Information about QCDOC hardware is gathered in the QCDOC hardware pages.

Tutorials

Presentations about the software and hardware, including practical exercises, have been made at the HackLatt series of computing workshops.
